Since we’d been babies we try to touch everything in our environment just for being able to understand how it works. We’re snoopy and hungry for new impressions. If we’re not allowed to do anything we even more want to do it. It annoys us if we’re patronized.
It is a well-known fact that things are more fun when they are forbidden.
Especially when we’re attending an exhibition and the guards tell us not to touch the artworks or have a look at our bags we often get angry with them. We get in contact with things that we don’t understand or which fascinate us and if we’re not allowed to touch them we think that we’re not able to cope with them.
MC Hammer was wrong!
The guys behind the BMW Museum and the BMW Welt know that too wherefore they recently hosted the Night of the White Gloves. For the 8th time you’ve been gifted with a pair of Roeckl white gloves so that you can get really close to the displayed items. You’ve literally been able to feel a spark of history.
Due to the event you’ve been able to touch every item from a BMW R 90 S to an amazing BMW 3.0 CSL. Some exhibits could be opened too whereby you’ve been able to see old bricolages. If you’re into art and motorized vehicles an exhibition likes this one is the best that can happen on a Friday night.
